How do you get the tea ball and gloves on the new updated game?

To get the tea ball you have to keep merging herbs into a full jar, the full jar produces tea balls and infused oil! It’s just like how the scuba gear worked in the previous game.

I am not sure about the tea ball but you get the gloves by merging shears that is a rare drop from the herb stall. Hope this helps some 😃
