The watches and monkeys come from the fishing net. It has to be a small fishing net (level 3) before it starts producing undersea gold which gives you either a watch or a monkey.

They come from the fishing net, keep tapping it, you should then have a lump of coal looking thin, tab on that which again it take about 5 energy you should either have a money or a watch
