I am on level 80 and I lack mysterious letter now also. Using a lot of energy on bucket now also. Can anyone help to sort the issue?

Agree totally stop wasting energy on it you would really need to restart to get rid of it.

I'd just ignore thay request if I were you. I'm on level 120 now and tried several times throughout the game to obtain more mysterious letters to no avail. Not worth your energy points.

If you have a mysterious letters you can use a joker.

Joker can not be used on special items like the let's or fossils

Have you reached maximum level 15 in items from the bucket? If not, that can help you get all 4 mysterious letters (to make one half of fossil), followed by another quest to get the other half of the fossil.

I am on level 80 as well. So I had to go back to the bucket. Keep clicking on it the letters will appear. I was able to complete that task.
