Failed to drag and drop insects in the formation. Any suggestions as to why this happened?

If your march is at home (not marching) and you have the troops available then it should work ok. Sometimes there are connection issues that mean actions you take are not updated, but this is only a temporary glitch and trying again should resolve it.

If you continue to have problems then contact the game support to report it and see if they are aware of this issue.
