How to get Free Pets?

When you open the pets menu (if you haven't yet unlocked them with coins) you will see the three possible pets listed with the cost to unlock. The Lion and the Elephant cost coins while the dog / fox is free.
Tap on the first pet and you will be shown a video advert that you cannot skip before it will allow you to use the pet. When it finishes however all the pets become available to activate. You can continue to activate all of the pets as long as the pets menu stays open. Once it is closed though (to view the screen, or to save / exit the game) you will need to re do the glitch and rewatch the video advert to unlock the pets again.
It is not known if this is a genuine glitch or intentional but it may well be patched in future.
It take a little effort to unlock the pets but having a lion and an elephant with you while hunting will make your day go much more easily.
