What happens to the coins in the chest at the end of each level?

There is a gold reserve chest that left you earn extra coins but you have to buy them with real money. These are in addition to the normal ones you earn from playing levels. Once you have collected at least 7500 coins you can pay to open it. Buying coins this way can be a little cheaper than buying them from the in game bank shop depending on how many you collect.
