How to Backup and Transfer your Game

Stormshot is a long term strategy game that you will be playing for months or years. To keep your progress safe in case you have any device problems you will need to make sure that your game is backed up. Or you may want to transfer your game account to a new phone or to play it on multiple devices. To do this you will need to bind it.

Binding your game will allow you to keep it safe and you can then log into it from any other device running it (although only on one at a time).

Binding your game

To save the game you must bind it to an external account. Stormshot has several options that you can use to link to. Their own FunPlus account, as well as a Facebook account login, Twitter account, or to Google Play.

First Tap on your Avatar in the top left to access the Lord Profile screen and then select 'Settings' at the bottom.

From the Settings menu tap on the Account option. And then on Account Management.

This will show you the binding options available to you so select from, you can bind to more than one and also unbind from accounts that you no longer need.

Logging in

Once it is bound you can load the game on a new device or second device to play it there.

If you have just loaded the game app on a new device then you will need to play though the initial tutorial levels until you are able to tap on the avatar in the to left as you did before. This only takes a few minutes.

Return to the account screen and instead of selecting Account management tap on the Switch Account option.

Select the option to log into and you will then be able to load the previous progress.

Account problems or Lost account

If you have any problems accessing a saved account or if you have lost an account that was not bound and backed up then you can use the 'Contact Support' option in the Account Management screen to send your details to the game support.

If you know details of your lost account such as name, kingdom number (State ID) or possibly even your Lord # or UID which are shown in your Lord Profile then it will help then track down your lost account and restore it to you.

We recommend taking a screenshot of your Lord Profile screen when playing the game to keep as a reference in case of future problems.
