Penny is a caring woman that you'll often see teaching the children in Stardew Valley. She's also one of the bachelorettes that you can ask to become your partner and eventual spouse. In this guide, we'll be checking which gifts she likes, her schedule, as well as how to trigger her heart events.
What Gifts does Penny like?
In Stardew Valley, there are items that are universally loved, liked, neutral, disliked, and hated. However, each character also has specifics that they want and don't want. The list below shows the specific gifts you can give to Penny.

Easiest Gift: If you don't have the patience for gathering ingredients for cooking, Penny can easily be gifted by giving her either a Dandelion or Leek each time. These can easily be foraged in Spring so it's a good starting gift. Once you reach summer, you can plant Melons or Poppy which she loves.

Penny's Heart Events
Heart Events are cutscenes that you can watch for each character if you are able to reach a specific heart level. In order to trigger the cutscene, you need to be at the proper place with the correct heart number. The list below shows the places you need to be for Penny's heart events:
- Two Hearts: Visit Pelican Town on a sunny day between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm
- Four Hearts: Visit the trailer while Penny is home.
- Six Hearts: Visit the trailer while Penny is home.
- Eight Hearts: Visit Cindersap Forest between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm
- Ten Hearts: After receiving the letter from Penny, head to the pool at the Spa between 7:00 pm and 12:00 midnight.
- Fourteen Hearts: Visit the farmhouse between 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm.
