How to determine what min for players to get for the team tournament and the treasure chest?

How to determine what min for players to get for the team tournament and the treasure chest? Also how many helps would be required as well? New leader needing help with an active team with 10 players always or more playing and growing. Have 46 but weeding them out. But can I get some advice please we are average I guess.
