Hi everyone, I’m having a hard time with the chess mini game, can’t figure out the pattern. I’ve been looking on google for some time and can’t find a walkthrough that explains how to solve it?

I don't understand what the numbers represent

They represent the order and are laid out on a grid to make the chess board. Just move to each square in order.
