Try everything even if it is not obvious or just doesn't make sense. Sometimes, hidden objects can be disguised or hidden in unexpected ways. For example, a baseball could be hidden in a baseball glove or a frog could be hiding in a pond. Use your imagination and think creatively when searching for objects
Try to make sure you don't miss anything obvious, or it just takes time to scan everything thoroughly and work out if things need to be moved, opened etc...
Try not to use too many hints if you don't need to, save them up for when you really need them.
As you're searching for objects, try to organize your search. For example, focus on finding all the objects that are blue or all the objects that are circular. This can help you stay focused and make your search more efficient. Or go from left to right, or top to bottom.
You might need to move a painting or open a drawer to find an object. Don't forget to interact with the scene in order to see if anything can be moved or opened.

How to complete Chapter 3 / 17 Japanese museum puzzle?
1. Orange L (bottom right) all the way down. 2. Purple square all the way right. 3. Green L (bottom left) down and tuck to the right. 4. Blue L down. 5. Upper purple square to the left. 6. Green L up. 7. Rightmost purple square back to middle. 8. Yellow L down to slot in with orange L. 9. Green L to right to sit atop yellow L. 10. Rotate blue L around purple squares to slot in with green L. All L shapes should now be sat in a tower on right. 11. Rearrange ball and squares so that ball sits atop squares in tower on left. 12. Bring green and blue Ls down to middle, allowing yellow L to move back up to top right. 13. Bring orange L up and tuck into notch on right. Move green right one space and blue down one space so that all three are in line. 14. Move ball to the right and upper purple square up, allowing all L shapes to move left, with yellow L coming down to line up with the others. 15. Move ball and square all the way to the right, allowing blue L to slide all the way up, and green L sliding all the way left into the notch. 16. I can’t add a picture but top left is silver t shape laying on its side. Top right corner is blue upside down L. Bottom left is the gold L. Hope this is at least a start. I noticed when the pieces are in the right spot they kind of snap together. ... + 3 More Answers
It is not clockwise or counter-clockwise ( I tried that also). You do go in the order shown on the wood; but notice in the middle of the shield, around which the runes are placed, there are interconnected lines. You have to follow the lines from one location to the next in order to place them in the correct spots around the shield. I which we could show pictures here. ... + 5 More Answers
