The code to exit the Jewellery Store is 9816. I’ve put it in the door in many different ways but it’s not opening. What am I doing wrong!?
I had the same issue. I'm guessing the game was updated. The door code is now 8691. Try that one 😃
The code is entered left to right, so

(Not clockwise as I tried so many times!)
Code doesn't work in neither combination, and I've still got a small key left. Hints aren't helpful at all "can you crack the code" well obv not although I completed the puzzle, placed the punched paper, tried 6 & 9 in any way round

All we have on our guide page about the exit is this:
'... click the double glass doors and enter the code 9816, with one letter in each of the corners and the doors should open, then tap the doors that are revealed, and you can leave the Jewelry store. You'll get the REC collectible on leaving.
