Puzzle Lovers - Chapter 3 Walkthrough

Puzzle Lovers is an escape room puzzle game, part of the series of Adventure Escape Mysteries from Haiku Games, featuring a globe trotting reality show.

After surviving the volcano adventure in Chapter 2 you next head on to the Nordic village of Frijonya. Be prepared to make some more dialogue choices and partner up again on your next snow filled adventure.

Puzzle Lovers - Chapter 3 Walkthrough

For the third part of the adventure you will need to pick another partner and then head to an uncovered Viking Gate to solve the mystery.

As before talk to the remaining contestants and then pick a partner. This will affect your interactions with them but not the game progress.

Collect a Fun Straw from the cup on the floor and then move the pink cushion on the left sofa to collect a Garter Belt

Tap the curtains at the back to collect 2 Velcro Straps and then tap on the Snowmobile. It stalls. You will take a look at the engine.

Add the straw, the garter belt to the and then the 2 Velcro straps to fix the engine.

The door opens and you can take a helmet. Complete the dialogue options to continue.

You arrive at the gate. There is another team there already.

After the conversation the others leave. Now collect the paper Rune Document from the ground and then collect from the snowman the Replica Shield and remove the scarf to find a Runic Disc.

Collect an Empty Bottle from the right by the camera. Tap on the snowmobile and it will start to leak oil, use the empty bottle on this to collect a Bottle of Oil.

Next use the shield on the piles of snow around the scene, this will dig them up and reveal 2 more runic discs to collect and some steps.

Tap on the gate now and you will collect a Stripped Bar. Then view the door.

Doorway Runic Puzzle

• Add the 3 runic discs to start.
• Then view the rune document to see and interpretation of the runes into numbers.
  
• You need to find a set of 4 numbers to open this.

This unlocks the door but it is stuck . Now add the bottle of oil to the door and it will open. Tap the door to enter and then an avalanche traps you inside.

Collect a candle from the ground on the left and then tap on the video camera. It will burst into flames.

Use the candle on the flames to light it. Then you can use the lit candle on the others to light them all.

Collect the Frozen Ax. Then use it on the burning camera to get the Burning Ax.

Use this burning Ax on the ice wall to break it down.

Collect the Viking Knife from the table, then move the cloth that it was sticking into to also collect a wooden lever.

Remove the sheet from the giant drill in the room and then use the lit candle on the lantern on the left of the drill to light it. Move the 2 chairs by the table and you can collect 2 more Wooden Levers.

Now view the carved picture on the left, collect 1 more Wooden Lever from it.

Move the snow from a panel to the left of the drill and then view it to see a red crystal. Use the knife on this to collect the Mysterious crystal

Wooden Levers Puzzle

• First add the mysterious crystal to the top of the lit lantern on the left, this will direct a beam of light onto the carving.
  
• View the image to see 5 squares lit up to give you a clue
• Now view the panel again and add the 4 levers you have.
  
• Set the positions according to the clue.

This opens the side of the drill, look in side for another puzzle

Drill Gears Puzzle

• There are gears that can be moved along the sliding paths.
• There are also stones that need to be moved out of the way.
• Arrange the gears to make a connection between the spinning gold gear on the left to the one on the right.

This will start the drill and then you break the next ice wall. In the next area there is a ladder to repair. Collect the Small Ladder from the left side. Then add this to the broken ladder on the right.

Choose the next dialogue option and then you climb out of the cave.

Tap the scene to clear the blizzard and then you can collect a Handle from the ground on the right side.

Use the handle on the shovel head in the snow in the center to collect the Snow shovel.

Use the shovel to dig up 3 more piles of snow.

Collect the Tapestry Pieces from the tree on the left. And also collect the BBQ Tongs from the ground.

Now view the door oh the house.

Cabin Door Puzzle

You need 4 numbers, notice the symbols above the lock.

Look at the cabin to recognize the matching shapes on it.

Count the number of each shape

Enter the cabin

Use the shovel again to clear the pile of snow. Then tap the plank to lift it up. And then tap the fallen furniture to lift that also.

Open the 3 doors of the large cabinet, collect 2 more tapestry pieces and a Candle Lighter.

Next open the green guest book on the small table to look inside, collect a Heart Token. Then tap the rug to lift it. You can then use the tongs to collect a second heart token.

Finally collect a Replica Ax from above the door on the left.

Tapestry Puzzle

• Now view the frame on the wall, add the tapestry pieces to it to start a puzzle.
• Assemble the pieces as a jigsaw to complete the picture.
• Tap a piece to rotate it.

This will rotate the panel that the image is on, tap to collect a Game Board.

Open the door and go outside, then use the Ax on the logs that you uncovered to collect some Firewood.

Then go back inside and add this to the fire place. Use the lighter to light it.

You then have a Hot Chocolate and end up discovering another Heart Token to collect.

Remove the green guest book from the table and place the game board on it. Then view it.

Game Board Puzzle

• Add the 3 heart tokens. to start the game
• You control the 3 heart tokens.
• Select 1 token and them make single move.
• Every more you make the red token will try to reach one of the three exits.
• You need to block it and then trap it with all 3 tokens so that it cannot escape.

Collect the Key from under the table. Use the key on the key hole under the tapestry. This will reveal a Bed.

Tap the phone on the bed to communicate with Xia. Then follow the rest of the conversations.

When you get back on the plane you need to vote another person off of the show. Then look forward to sunny Greece in Chapter 4.
