Puzzle Lovers - Chapter 1 Walkthrough

Puzzle Lovers is an escape room puzzle game, part of the series of Adventure Escape Mysteries from Haiku Games, featuring a globe trotting reality show.

Chapter 1 opens with you selecting the character that you want to play as from the options available. Then choosing your name. After a quick introduction you must press on to reach the plane and join the contest before sunset.

Chapter 1 Walkthrough

Your fist task is to get through the gate to the runway.

You will meet another contestant here, in my case Jake. If you chose this character at the start then perhaps you will meet someone different.

First lift the box on the ground by the gate and collect the Fire Extinguisher. Then tap the Engine on the ground on the right and you will collect a Washer.

User the Washer on the Binocular viewer on the left and you wlll be able to look through it.

Move the view around until you see the Plane identification number. This is partially obscured but you can make out the 5 numbers.

Now view the combination lock and enter the 5 digits

The gate gets stuck but first you need to answer a question about why you are on the show. Pick any answer to move on. Your companion will try to fix it but will instead start a fire. Use the fire extinguisher on the flames to put them out.

Tap the foam left behind to clean it and then you can collect the Socket Wrench.

Use the wrench on the engine to remove a further panel and then you will collect the Wire. Then add the wire to the open electrical panel to fix it. The gate will open.

You reach the plane but the stairs are now down and the door is shut.

Move the Palm leaved on the ground and collect a Puzzle Piece.

Luggage lock puzzle

View the luggage trolley on the right to see the lock on the chain, notice the 4 colors on the lock as a clue.

Now examine the plane for the rest of the clue.

A camera boom appears, tap this to collect a second Puzzle Piece. Then tap on the red carpet where it is wrinkled to find another Puzzle piece.

Then tap on the luggage trolley to start looking through the bags. You will collect a Nail File.

Then after moving some more collect 3 more Puzzle Pieces.

Then after the cart is moved you can collect a Newspaper, a Flattened Pipe and 1 more Puzzle Piece.

Now move the cone on the left and then you can use the Flattened pipe on the the hatch in the ground.

When it opens collect another Puzzle Piece

Stairs Puzzle

• Now tap on the folded down stairs. You will see a face plate on the side.
• Use the nail file to remove the screws and open it.
• Now add the 8 puzzle pieces.

• To solve this you need to add the pieces to the grid. Join them together to make paths.
• You need to make 5 paths to connect together the pairs of matching symbols on the left and right.

This will raise the stairs and now you can board the plane. There is a combination lock on the door.

Plane Door lock

• You need a 4 digit combination.
• Notice the lights that came on after the previous puzzle.

You have another conversation option here to respond to an alliance offer from your companion (Jake). You can choose a fake relationship, a real one, or just keep your options open.

Enter the plane to meet some other contestants, Alex and Mo.

Choose your next dialogue option and then after the conversations you will receive the Task List, View this .

Tap on Alex to talk to her. She will ask for help with the chess puzzle. Give her the newspaper, this will check of the item on the task list.

Then also talk to Mo.

Collect a bottle of Champagne from the bucket on the left and then then take the Box of chocolates from the table by Mo.

Tap to move the 2 pots of flowers behind Mo and you can then collect a Staple Remover will find a red button. Press the button to reveal the overhead compartments. Two of them are locked with symbols on them.

Now use the staple remover on the heart shaped rug to lift it. Then collect the Music Key.

Use the key to open the compartment with the musical symbol and then you can collect the Legendary guitar.

Give this guitar to Mo and he will play it. This clears his entry on the task list. You then meet another contestant, Ofeibia.

Now tap the ice bucket on the left to tip it over and collect the Wire Cutters. Use these on the painting on the right to reveal a screen 'Awaiting Input'.

The task for Ofeibia says to help her blood sugar level. Give the box of chocolates to her to clear this one. You then also get a Movie key.

An unknown woman appears at the door. You need a handle to open it. Collect the Gold Heart that falls.

Tap the cushion on the seat where Mo was sitting. You can then collect the second Gold Heart.

View the table on the left and place the 2 gold hearts on it.

You can then collect the Huge Wrench

Use the movie key to open the other overhead compartment and collect the Super-8 Camera.

Give the wrench to Ofeibia and she will open the door. Meet Ivy.

Give the Camera to Ivy and you will then get a Remote Control.

When the other two leave use the remote control on the screen that is awaiting input. This will reveal a puzzle.

Nonagram Puzzles

• The instructions are explained to you.
• Use the red or grey colors to fill in the squares
• Complete the grid according to the numbers.

There is then is a second puzzle, this one has 3 colors.

Collect a paper Coordinate Printout from below the screen, it is the flight plan to "Mystére Island".

Tap the open door and you will call Jake, when he enters hew wants something to drink. Give him the champagne.

Give the coordinates to Jon "the billionaire" who appears.

Now complete your task list by closing the 2 overhead compartments. The plane will take off and you have a closing conversation choice to make. I'm just here for the money.

That completes chapter 1, more on to chapter 2
