Hoow do you complete the lock puzzle in Mr Kinnskys room?

This is a tricky puzzle which you can resolve by dragging the lock from the right to the left, but everytime you pass a pin the locks that you pass will change direction.

So one path which will work is left, then up as soon as you get to the first pin, then left again, and then down to the end of the straight line, not the diagonal, go right here, down and then head to the right via the diagonal and up.
