I have been hit for billions before and they showed me they only took a few million. It never really takes all those billions and even if they are on zero sometimes it doesn't bankrupt them
The game scales to their level. If higher level accounts hit lower level accounts for the amount of money they usually make on max multipliers you would wipe out lower leveled accounts in one bank heist. So for example a level 20,000 account would receive 2.4 Billion on a X1 multiplier and on max 100X multiplier they would receive 240B. That would pretty much wipe out a level 8,000 players account in one heist. So to add balance to the game a level 20,000 player would receive the full 240B but the level 8,000 player would only have 20 Billion taken from their banks. They did this to make the game balanced otherwise lower leveled players would never be able to advance in the game because higher level players would constantly wipe out their entire banks in one heist if that makes sense.
