How do I know if my shard level has been published? Or how can I get people to play it?

If your shard is not yet published it will have a red "UNPUBLISHED" notice when you view in the "My Shards" list. If so just click the cog icon, then click "Publish". You will also need to complete the Shard yourself if you haven't already.
You can promote your shard via the "Share icon" in the bottom left corner of the My Shards page. Get a link and share it to get plays.
