I'm stuck in level 10 slowly making honey. I have completed the collecting the items they showed me for level 11 and 12. Is there a quick way to earn xp so I can unload some of them? Or a quicker way to finish making honey?

I'm level 14 and still stuck on the honey, but it wasn't my priority at that point. Use the cleaning and gardening tools to make quick money (keep the soap!)

Also keep at least four watering cans (leveling them up makes the cooldown faster) that gives you flowers faster. Merging the gardening and cleaning tools helps getting xp.
