What happens with snowflakes after the winter event ends? Do I get it as cash, or it just disappears?

We don’t know because this is the first time they’ve done this particular event. But if it’s anything like the Halloween one, any existing snowflakes on the board should convert to coins.
Don’t remember what happened to leftover Halloween points though. I don’t think they converted those? But they could this time, who knows.
