Match 3 Mobile Games to Play in October 2026

No new match 3 game of any size launched in the first week of October, but the games you already have are busy. Two of the biggest added new areas and level batches on the same day, and the Halloween content has started appearing.

Royal Kingdom opens the Armory district with another hundred levels, Toy Blast has taken its toys skydiving, Fishdom is handing out Halloween collection cards, and Jewels of the Wild West has a ballooning festival to save.

Royal Kingdom

Update: 2nd October 2026

Dream Games opened October in Royal Kingdom with 100 new levels, which is the fortnightly rhythm the game runs on, and a new district to spend your rebuilding on.

The Armory is the new area, following Dragon Training from the middle of September. If you cleared that one out, this is where the kingdom expands next.

Toy Blast

Update: 2nd October 2026

Peak's October drop for Toy Blast takes the toys out of the cupboard and drops them out of a plane. The new update is a skydiving run, with rainbows to float past and a view on the way down.

As with Royal Kingdom, the levels arrive on a two-week cycle — 50 at a time — so you'll need the current version to see the new batch.

Fishdom

Update: 23rd September 2026

Fishdom's current update landed just before the month turned, and its Halloween content is what you'll be playing through October. Collecting the Halloween Collection cards earns rewards that make levels easier to clear.

There are two events alongside it. Toxic Business is an expedition where you track down the source of some pollution before it turns into an ecological disaster, and Romantic Venice is a merge event with items to combine and orders to fill.

Playrix added a new aquarium too, Desert Wonders, plus two new fish in the Red-Bellied Piranha and the Reindeer Wrasse.

Jewels of the Wild West

Update: 24th September 2026

G5's Jewels of the Wild West opens a new Air Dock location, where inventor Jean Larivet's ballooning festival has the settlers asking questions and there's a charming fraud to expose.

The Flights and Dreams event runs with it, and working through its 65 quests earns the Golden Zeppelin Talisman along with the rest of the rewards. There's a set of shorter mini-events for prizes too, if you'd rather dip in than commit.

Lily's Adventures

Expected: TBA (limited release on Google Play)

Lily's Adventures is Tactile Games' newer match 3 game, pairing puzzle levels with restoring an overgrown garden and a story the studio pitches as drama, laughs and romance. It's from the same Danish studio as Lily's Garden.

A month on from when we first flagged it, not much has moved. The Google Play listing was last touched on 11th September and is still sitting above a thousand downloads, there's no App Store listing, and Tactile hasn't announced a global launch. It's playable now if you want an early look, but treat it as a work in progress rather than a finished release.

That's October so far. Royal Match's current build adds the Lagoon area and a Hologram obstacle to break through, and September's content is still live in Homescapes, Project Makeover and Gardenscapes, with Project Makeover's Halloween season running all month.
