Their abilities are what makes them unique, and they will be used in a lot of different battles that you'll be experiencing in the game. You might be wondering, how do battles work in this game in comparison to other Idle RPGs.
In this page, we'll be checking the battle mechanics of League of Pantheons and learn which ways features will help you in terms of attaining a successful victory. As you progress in the game, you'll be encountering stronger battles. Therefore, you'll want to make your heroes stronger along the way.
How do your heroes battle?
In League of Pantheons, you're going to be forming a team of up to 6 heroes max. When starting out, you're going to be following the game's tutorial and use the basic formation for battle. Later on, you'll be able to use other formation types in order to give you options for placing your members on the field.
When fighting, your heroes will either be in the front row, middle row, or back row. The placement of your heroes can determine which ones can get hit first depending on your opponent's skills. Most of the time, heroes that you place on the front get damaged first unless your opponents use area of effect skills or skills that target the back row.
In the game's fight tab, you'll be able to deploy your heroes by tapping on the "Boss" button. This will initiate the battle, and you will let your heroes fight automatically. When fighting opponents, your heroes will automatically use skills on their own depending once it's ready.
How to get bonus damage
Aside from waiting for your heroes to get their turn in dealing damage with their skills, you have other options in order to get extra damage versus your enemies. One of the features that you'll be able to find in League of Pantheons is the use of Artifacts. This feature is provided early in the game and you’ll be able to collect a variety of items. When checking the Artifact menu, you will be provided with a series of short quests that will let you the different kinds of items that can help you in battle.
Once you are in battle, Artifacts will float above your team. As the battle is ongoing, your item will slowly charge until it’s maxed out. It will then unleash its attack versus all of your enemies which is very helpful in trying to take them out sooner.
Unlocking all Artifacts will provide you with the ability of upgrading them in order to make them stronger. With enough materials, you can increase the stats of the artifacts of your choice, and you’ll gain better stats which will help in your overall damage.
Battle limitations
When battling your enemies, you'll progress through the different chapters and their corresponding sub stages. Enemies that you fight will become stronger, so you will need to improve your current team as well. However, there are still limitations in the game's fight section.
You will eventually reach a point where battles cannot be progressed since you will now have an Account level requirement. Your current account level can be viewed on the upper-left side of the screen near your name. You can get account EXP by completing quests as well as claiming your Autoplay rewards. It's important for you to claim this each day since the rewards will stop accumulating once you have reached a specific time limit.
