Where to find materials for stone blocks?

Tin Ore and basalt for stone blocks are found in Ore Gorge. To get there one must advance to the Valley of 5 Idols and complete a few quests to unlock the way. Varun, hornleg, marrow and a few trees are also found in the gorge. Good armor, an oak bow with copper tipped arrows and copper knuckles are a must for defeating the varun quickly. Also, a copper pick is required to get the Ore. One will need to build a stonecutter in order to process the basalt to stone blocks. The processing of basalt will take hours.
