The green icon with the lightning bolt allows you to collect the energy that has accumulated so far. Energy accumulates for the 4 completed landmarks (i.e. lighthouse, chapel, pirate ship and mountain chateaux) at a rate of 1 every 10 minutes, until they reach a max in 10 hours. Before that 10 hour mark, you can tap that lightning bolt icon to collect; they are not extra, just a prorated amount. These landmarks are a permanent feature to Orchid Island and cannot be restarted, modified, or lost.
