Does the requirement for flowers to level up keep increasing?

Flower requirements will go up and down from scene to scene, but looking at requirements per chapter, you'll see trends. In volume 1, the early chapters start at 170 and go up to 1760 flowers (average of 1420). In volumes 2 to 4, the average flower requirement of each chapter is ~1660. In Volume 5, the average chapter requirement goes up to ~1800. In volumes 6,7, and 8, the average is even higher at 1968.
