Any update on the new island?

The 8th island will be called Sycamore Island and will be available around mid-June 2024.

Developers say very soon, but did not give details.

I see the new island (it sits above Laurel) but I still can’t access it. I’ve been playing less because of this (I hate not knowing how many compasses I’ve accrued) since filling island 7 (Magnolia).

If you’re having space issues, buy swing sets and create playgrounds on your open islands. I’ve also placed several behind various houses (every kid has a swing set in my world). I also have at least one flower shop with a minimum of 2 greenhouses and vegetable patches on most islands. These are all high value items and there are many others from which to choose (firetruck, wine-tasting bar, garden hearth, etc.)
