How do you permanently remove fortune and feathers from Orchid Island without storing it?

Some decorations cannot be sold, so the only way to remove from the island is to store it in the boat.

It took me a long time to manage prize decorations. Prize decorations or gifts within the various misc. games CANNOT be sold. You do have the option to red X them to the boat. This way the don't take up valuable space. Earn your flowers with decorations that can be resold, stockpile gifts you know you don't want. Part 2 is my add on to managing decorations. All the gold box decorations can also be X without placing. When the game ends at the end of the month, they automatically go to the boat. This can be helpful to only place when you need the flowers. I sell mine back if I don't want when I can manage the flower to coin count.
