I don’t want to use the airplane to send supplies. I have just started the game last week and do not want to use my supplies. They keep sending me there and I keep backing out but they keep sending me there anyway. Do you have to do the first trip and they will leave you alone?
Yes, you have to finish the tutorial the first time. After that, you won't be bothered again.
Keep in mind, there is a maximum of materials you can amass. I believe its 1000 per item. Materials will build up fairly quickly as you win them for regular play and as awards in the blue and pink boxes.
Also, if I may, go for compasses and flowers if you do send out Jack's plane. Coins and decorations are also easy to get.
It's the diamonds you should hoard as they are not easy to come by.
