Diamonds are harder to come by than before. Gifted bushes offer them randomly (used to be consistently). Removing rocks and dead trees from newly opened plots give diamonds fewer than before. Find diamonds when you open starboxes, which are more available than before (rewards, tip shop, uprooted Magnolia gifted bush, Jack's delivery). Receive diamonds as prizes in team competitions, Detective Needed events, Help Wanted tasks, certain Jack's Deliveries, Sweep the Board Events, and Club Mysteries. And of course, you can buy diamonds with real money, now in a variety of ways.
