I have sent multiple gifts to many players I don't know any of them, I'm not in a club. I was removed after joining one a few hours after joining, no reason. I find that rude and never tried another. Anyway about the gifts, as a new player I received my one and only. I made sure I returned one, I have never received another from anyone and I've sent a lot. I feel I should stop and save my diamonds or whatever the cost is for them. I don't send just to receive what you get for doing so from the game, it's just frustrating when there's some I'd really like, and I haven't found them to purchase for myself. So, should I stop? Or just suck it up and keep sending?
You should not sent bushes that cost diamonds. Diamonds are your most precious commodity, and other players may be hesitant to spend them to return bushes. Exchange only the bushes that cost coins. Since the players on your boat are not reciprocating, you might try finding players that are better via Facebook by making them FB friends. Or join a better team. There are many good ones out there; you should not let one bad one sour your experience.
I am sorry you have had a bad experience. I am on a team, but I also send bushes to those I don’t know. I am sure many were never returned, but some were and we exchange regularly. If you want to try team life on a friendly, competitive team that really cares about its members, look us up. We are Junes (no apostrophe) Challengers. Our president is CutiePie. I hope you will check us out. I’m Jan. Come visit me and we can exchange some bushes even if you aren’t interested in a club.
You are so much better off in a team that is organized. I am in serious fun. We communicate with each other and have a set meeting time to share drinks and plants. We win a lot of nice prizes
I know it will take some effort, but Go to the club Lounge look through the clubs that Define as relaxed or social.. Some clubs are just interested in exchanging Cafe drinks and bushes Join one of them, based on the feel you have for them by reading what they have to say about their Club. Ask them what their member policies are.. if you're not happy there, just leave and try another club. Good luck!
I have had players I don't know gift me with bushes. I am on a team, so my obligation to give bushes is to my team members. However, I have tried to return "extra" bushes to some of these unknown players, only to find that they don't have any room for bushes on their island. Make sure you have room for someone to return bushes to you!
In your old club, did you read the messages in your team meeting room (same area as where you can click to send drinks). On the team I’m on, the leader is very good about warning people, play competitions and serve drinks (our meeting time is 3 pm central time). I didn’t realize on the first team I was on there actually was a group conversation going on in the app, that’s why I explained this. Also, on giving drinks, I along with others give first priority every day to members of my team on who I share gifts with. Since there’s a limited number we can give, I assume most do the same, explaining why you may not get drinks sent back to you. I think with the team I’m on, you have to have at least level 250 accomplished, meet to give drinks at club time and play in every competition (unless you post to group why you can’t on any particular comp.). Look for the team Buzzing Bees. I think there’s one slot still open. Good luck to you! It’s gets easier and more fun! Stick to it!
I gifted some bushes, a few at a time, since they cost diamonds, and a few people gifted back. Now I just gift back and forth with those few people. I think I enjoy it with these few people more than I would a bunch of players. Oh, and wait a few days to give again but be sure to return the favor for your gifts.
Now, where are the ones that cost coins? ;^)
Hi - I was actually looking for a clearer answer about when bushes refresh and read your comment. I am so sorry that happened to you!! I've been President of "If Sherlock Had a Twin" for 4 yrs come February. In the rare instance (twice) that I have had to remove a player, it was never without having a one-on-one discussion beforehand. I always get to know potential players ahead of time before they join (our club is set on application only status which just means players can't drop in/out, you have to wait for a myself or an Officer to admit you. Some players think there is an actual "application" to fill out, but there's not). As maintaining a strong/cohesive/supportive team is important to us, ensuring that we as a team can meet your needs as a player is vital! Just as it's important to know you'd be a good fit for us...
I joined a team when I first started playing and got kicked off. They obviously wanted more out of their players than what I could give. I joined another team that indicated their playstyle is relaxed. When you search for another team to join make sure their playstyle is relaxed. You’ll be fine.
