In the new game, why do I have to use diamonds to open a sector when I have a lot of green badges?

The sector you're in has become 'locked' because you went over the time limit for that sector. To unlock it, you need diamonds, and then it will unlock for a longer time, and you will receive a few bonus badges. Unfortunately you can't proceed to another sector until you or a teammate has unlocked it, and you've completed it.

To avoid sectors locking next time, here are some tips:

- only start a sector when you gave full badges available (300)

- look at the number of sections within a sector - if there are three, you may not finish all three even with 300 badges, so make sure you have full energy available to be able to play regular hidden object scenes as soon as you've finished your 300 badges - so you can get a few more and play on

- for the more difficult sectors, play during your club meeting time and 'ask for help' by clicking the clock button next to the investigate button, to get extra time to complete your sector

- share and drink drinks in the cafe (best at club meeting time) to get extra badges and energy to complete your sector

- have enough diamonds saved up as a backup to use to unlock your sector if you need to - collecting diamonds is time consuming and you can get stuck in a sector for a long time if you don't finish it in time and don't have the diamonds to unlock it.

Dont forget to help your teammates out with extra time when they need it - you'll see a notification icon asking for help and it doesn't cost you anything to provide it.
