We don't always get the bonus during competition when playing with team member during meeting time. Does it matter when you start the competition? Can you get the bonus playing alone? Thank you.

It doesn't matter when you play competition, whether it's during meeting time with other members or not, it's the same. The gamer refers to some advantage to playing comp when others are present, but there is no advantage.
