What are the accumulated flower pots in the botanical bonanza set for?

You have to accumulate a total of 2500 flower pots to earn the Radiant Indoor Garden decoration. Each item in the set has a certain number of flower pots shown above it's name in the shop. You receive the flower pot points after the decoration has finished construction and you have removed the red ribbon from it. You can mix and match anything in the set to achieve the total.

You can lay a series of tiles in a row to make a path. It isn't very versatile since it doesn't interact with other tiles nor with itself and only goes in one direction, but it makes a pretty pathway.
