It says I am traveling to marlin island. It just sits there. I have been taping all over the screen it won’t let me leave the screen. How do I get out?

I'm guessing that Marlin Island is another player's island that you are trying to visit. It sounds like the game froze as you are trying to visit. Sometimes a low internet/data connection does that. When the game freezes, the only thing I can do is just to close the game and reload.
