Must the lighthouse be done every 20 hours exactly? That means I have to wake at 1am in the morning to play the game.

20 hours is the earliest you can renovate, which is the fastest possible way to complete landmarks. Most people just renovate every 24 hours.

No, that's just when it's available for upgrade. You can wait as long as you like. During League weeks, I don't upgrade until I have an upgrade Help Wanted.
