Why is my rose pathway only a rose in a vase?

That seems odd. Was it a pathway at one time and now has changed?

when you put more than one together, it will 'flatten' to a pathway, you must have a single decoration

One rose pathway will give you a rose vase. Add more directly adjacent to it to create your rose path.
