Is there a problem now with the packets? I earned about 10 packets in normal play and they don't show up to be redeemed

That sounds like a glitch. Restart the game to see if they show. If not, contact customer service through the "help" button in the game settings. Be sure to provide you user game ID, which is shown below the "help" button.
