There are currently 6 islands:

1. Orchid Island

2. Sunflower Island, released Aug. 2019

3. Laurel Island, released Feb. 2020

4. Willow Island, released Jul. 2020

5. Snowdrop Island, released Jan. 2021

6. Marigold Island, released Sep. 2021

Marigold Island plots are prescheduled to open roughly corresponding to chapters released for play. Last plot open is scheduled for the end of August 2022.

Can you view other people's islands

Very likely there will be more islands, since the game is still very popular and a big money maker. You can only view other people's Orchid Island, not any of the other accessory islands.

You can indeed view friends islands by having them take screen shots and send them to you or post them in a team group. To visit whenever you want and send plant gifts this is reserved for teammates and facebook friends and only Orchid Island. If I want to show you my Laurel Island I must take a screenshot of mine and post, messagebor e-mail that screenshot to you.

That's such a crappy response to the person who provides so much assistance to players that have questions. It's obvious the original question & response from Ms Tearius meant in-game views. And since you're so quick to be snippy, perhaps check your facts about visiting islands. It's NOT just for FB friends and teammates. Many other players are available from one's boat... It's not limited to the 2 groups you mentioned. Have a nice day.

It’s true, Ms. Terious you helped me a lot when I first started playing - I would study the item guides before playing lol.

But I don’t think the other commenter meant to be snarky.

Thank you Ms T.!!

Magnolia Island did appear September 2022 as suggested but we are well into 2024. Does anyone have insight on when the next island will be released? TYIA!

Scarlett Holmes Answered:

Hello. There are 7 islands that I know of so far... Orchid Island, Sunflower Island, Laurel Island, Willow Island, Snowdrop Island, Marigold Island, and one more that's in the clouds for me still, so I don't know the name. I'm sure the are a few more after that, at the very least.

Move some of your non-moneymaking buildings to your boat on Orchid Island. Transfer to another island and offload the buildings there. That leaves space on Orchid island for friends to give you plants.

Guest Answered:

I was told Magnolia is the next island after Marigold by a teammate (03/28/2024)
