Does anyone have problems with their construction time changing?

Does anyone have problems with their construction time changing? For instance, I just had a new construction that was awarded to me because of the number of stars I had. When I clicked on it it said I had six hours until construction time and it would cost 16 diamonds to complete. I chose to wait. I came back eight hours later and it now says I have over 20 hours and it will cost me 56 diamonds to complete. This happens all the time and it’s very frustrating!
I find that happens all the time when I use my Kindle Fire tablet. For me, the problem seems to be the game doesn't connect to the internet, so everything I do after it loses connection doesn't save. So my progress is lost. It also happens when I switch devices without completing closing down the game on the first device.
I try to make sure I always properly close the game, not just let it time out or let my device turn itself off. And play only when I have a strong internet connection.
Take screenshots and show them to Wooga support. Construction time and diamond cost really should not go backwards.
Also be sure when you purchase or watch the time that what looks like "old" is really 01d, meaning 1 day, which is 24 hours more.
