No, completion of the landmarks have no relation to starting the next island. To receive Sunflower Island, you just need to clear all the clouded plots from Orchid Island. When you have 3 plots left to clear, you will receive an icon with map and drawing compass, which will be your access to the other islands when the plots are completely cleared.

Thank god for that. 20 levels in each and ten days per level. Very little or no real visable changes till end of each level. Pretty darn boring, seems they could cut it down to like 5 days per level maybe more people would finish them. 0 0 REPORT

The purpose of landmarks is to provide a way for players to visit the game every day and receive flowers. It is supposed to take a long time. In the past, landmarks were not always available.
