Ms. Tearius Answered:
In order to join the competition, you must be a part of that club before 15:00 UTC the day before the competition. So, for a competition that runs from 00:01 to 24:00 UTC Tuesday, you must be in the club before 15:00 UTC Monday. You can ask Google or use a time zone converter to see what that means for your time zone.
