I think maybe you are referring to one of the time-limited events, probably the new Sweep the Board, in which you beat the clock to complete 5 specific scenes multiple times to get the final reward. Typically it last for 3 days. They are not related to the 4th anniversary, and they will appear again.

For the game anniversary, the celebration gazebo is active with daily prizes for playing certain number of regular hidden object scenes, culminating with an animated rotating angel on Oct. 5.
