Hi, my friend said she has the cell game and the tablet game open same time and doesn't have to log out of one to play on the other. How is that possible? When I switch devices I have to log out of one session to play on the other device

You can only have one game open at a time. If she has one game account on the cell and a separate game account on tablet, then she can have them both open at the same time.
