Why do people repeatedly leave and rejoin detective lounge clubs?

Most often, they are "coffee jumpers" or "club hoppers", who jump in to grab drink energy, then leave to do the same at other clubs, and return for more.

Some teams have players with multiple accounts switching in and out to collect more blue ribbons for the Detectives League. One game account leaves, so a second account can come in and earn more blue ribbon points for the team, then 1st account returns to play or to collect the award.

Sometimes players leave thinking they can join a better club, but they change their minds and return. And sometimes there are glitches or errors, where players are removed and they try to return.
