I suspect it's related to some setting on your Kindle or just a glitch. Make sure auto-rotation is on, so that you should be playing vertically. Also reboot if it's a glitch.

I used Kindle Fire for the Spot Diff yesterday and had no trouble. My Kindle automatically reverts to full screen when it loads my game, and nothing is cut off.

Ok thanks it's the first time I used it for a competition and it's usually fine for the regular game play and automatically rotates the screen.
