Cafe changes only benefited DL all non members got left out. Even now, no coffees are ever in there, only members seem to be exchanging in background. Go figure where is every body? Icon says 3 on line. I go in and number turns to ZERO.

I know, very annoying! When I wrote to Wooga they said I need to belong to a club. I feel like the unspoken words were 'whether you like it or not'

Send your feedback to [email protected]. The change was hugely unpopular, but here is the official explanation: "Hello, Detectives. We recently introduced a series of changes to our Detective Lounge. Since we did not share more information about what led us to this decision alongside the initial announcement, we would like to apologize for that and give you some context about why we decided to implement these changes.

Specifically, the biggest change we introduced yesterday is the limit on how many drinks you can share and consume in the Café. This is a big step on the longer journey of adjustments we had to make upon realizing that a small portion of our players had an unfair advantage in all events (e.g. Raffles, Time-Limited Events, Competitions, Leagues). This small percentage of players accumulated tremendous amounts of Energy through the drinks in the Café, allowing them a chance to play much longer than average and score higher. We believe that it is very important to make sure that everyone who participates in the Detective Lounge has equal chances of achieving greatness with their club, both in club competitions and the upcoming Leagues. Therefore we had to adjust the balancing of the most powerful source of Energy in our game.

So in order to bridge that gap and put an end to the inequality we inadvertently fostered, we introduced the following changes:

1. Drinks now remain active for one hour, instead of 30 minutes.

2. You can only gift one drink per day. This drink is still free.

3. You can earn Energy from up to 15 drinks per day.

4. Each drink you serve and drink will provide League points when a League is active.

5. We've increased the number of Tips you can receive from drinks by 50% so you can spend them more often in the Tip Shop.

6. The Help Wanted tasks asking you to serve more than one drink will occur less frequently.

We understand that changes to your favorite game might be seen as disruptive. We are gamers ourselves and we share your passion. While it may seem like things are more difficult now, we want to reassure you that in the long run, these changes will keep our game sustainable. It is extremely important to us that we create a fun and fair game for all players.

The vast majority of our players (88% of our Daily Active Players) do not share more than one drink per day, so this change is not going to affect their gameplay. It will, however, create more even scoring in competitions because every club will have the same Energy resources to dedicate to winning.

As game designers, we build foundations in our game that must sustain June's Journey for the years to come. We know this is a shock now, but we are compelled to do what is best to ensure the game can be there for you in ten years time or longer. We know this is the right choice for the health of the game, but we are deeply saddened to read your responses to this change.

To our impressively strategic players: we hear you and we understand your initial surprise and frustration. We want to give you the tools to have a great gaming experience. We ask you to have faith in our work, as we are planning to introduce new features that will satisfy your need for competitive gameplay while giving the chance to lower-tier clubs to compete as well.

As for the rest of our players who prefer to casually engage with the Detective Lounge, we have listened to your feedback and we hope that this change will be the beginning of a series of actions from our side toward a fairer, more inclusive, and less stressful experience in June’s Journey.

We would like to sincerely thank you for all the feedback you have been providing us with to improve our game. We truly appreciate the effort and dedication you have shown over the last few years and we hope that these changes will reflect how much we care about creating a fun experience for all."

How come no one is ever serving coffee any more. Lucky to see one a day. New changes suck. I'm not even checking it any more. That's a good way to wreck a game. Protecting your pet players?
