The goal of the game is to balance island decoration with game progression. It is up to you how you want to achieve that. Some players buy only high-flower decoration, are never in flower shortage, and catch up to the developers quickly. Some players design their island with no thought to flower value, and quickly run out of island space and have to replay more. Most players are in between and find the balance.

While the above answer by Ms Terious is correct, I thought I'd share that I've been building an island that is entirely livable and navigable and have not run into any kind of shortage of flowers. It's true that my island is much more packed with decorations than I had initially imagined it would be, but I find that I can still create a gorgeous, livable Island and have enough flowers to continue playing without having to go back and replay scenes. I'm on level 454, been playing for a year. So far so good. 1 0 REPORT
