Do you keep getting the 'special materials' after all 3x3 buildings are finished?

Do you keep getting the 'special materials' after all 3x3 buildings are finished? By special I mean the terracotta, the glass, the tiles, and the copper. I notice Jack doesn't use them, so I'm wondering if they just keep coming for no reason or whether he starts using them at some point?

Yes, even after you have updated all 3x3 buildings, you will continue getting rare materials, which will mostly come from opening star boxes. Jack's delivery will occasionally ask for them. You can see how many you have collected below Jack's delivery map.
