What is supposed to happen during the meeting time and does the time chosen determine when the competitions..

The official club meeting time should be when the club members share their drinks. Some clubs are better at this than others. Some clubs meet at different pre-arranged time(s) and adjust the club meeting time for competition purposes.

Usually, in short competitions (i.e. 30-90 min long), the club's play window starts 14 hours before the official club time and ends x minutes after the club time, with x being the length of the competition. For marathon competitions (i.e. 20-24 hr long), the play window starts at club meeting time and players can play, exit, and return, for the full length of the competition.
