During the last Time Rush competition, I was on a roll, fast with no mistakes, then around scene 2 and 3, I got stalled by the game several tmes with a message that said "Wait___ seconds" - anywhere from 3, 5, 9 seconds. It wrecked my concentration and stole time from me. So was out of time at scene 4. Anyone else have this problem? It was NOT my internet connection. I'd like to think WOOGA is fair, but . . .

I've never seen a message like that. It does sound like a connectivity issue. I've had device memory capacity issues where the game will crash. Or connectivity issues where the game will continually try to load the next comp scene for an abnormally long time. Or even low power issues, where my device gets slower and slower in registering my taps. I've learned to plug in my device and clear my browser's cache before I start competition.

I have seen that message in the past. I got it when I hit the wrong item a few times rapidly. For me at the time, I was hitting the wrong item due to a few items either being named very similar or the item being very small and just missing it.

Not sure if that was the cause for the message but it seemed like it was a penalty for hitting super fast and wrong several times in a row. Perhaps someone can verify?

Yes I have had same message, it seems to be a penalty for randomly clicking around the scene trying to find items.

Some of the object names are confusing for me. A parasol instead of an umbrella. A Jerry can instead of a gas can. Or they say reel and I am looking for a film reel and it's a fishing reel.

Jerry can is an old name for it. It is actually used for water, not fuel. Parasol is also an old name, usually fancier than an umbrella. They change names of things on purpose to challenge the player.

It seems that ‘parasol’ is meant to shade you from the sun and ‘umbrella’ is intended for rain.
