Be aware that the energy increase is for your drink. You will receive it every time you serve a drink. Your teammates (or neighbors if you are not on a team) will receive your upgraded energy when they accept your drink. You can see what your drink is worth in energy at the top of your drink selection menu. If this has not increased as expected, take a screenshot and send to customer support through the "help" button in your game settings, along with your game user ID.
